The Maverick

August 2026

The month we opened the doors.

FROM JUSTIN

Know where to start.

When members know who is doing what, it is much easier to raise a hand and help.

Building 2148

WHAT WE BUILT THIS MONTH

August's initiatives.

The work that made it easier to understand the Lodge, find a place to help and bring the next generation in.

MEMBER ACCESS

Town Hall made the Lodge easier to navigate.

Officers, committee chairs and members sat down together so names, roles and open opportunities were easier to find.

YOUTH

The Antlers idea opened another door.

The proposed Antlers Club gives ages 12–20 a way to meet people, serve the community and learn what the Elks are about.

PARTICIPATION

More ways to raise a hand.

Committee interest, volunteer routing and member feedback made the starting point clearer for people who want to do more.

COMMUNITY & CHARITY IN ACTION

Service worth remembering.

A permanent record of the events and projects where Lodge members put service into action.

MEMBER RECOGNITION

August 2026 honorees.

Recognizing the members whose service, leadership and follow-through helped make the month happen.
